The low down on Downloads
Over the years, I have developed this silly habit - downloading an app, using it for 10 minutes, and then deleting it. Is it a waste of time? Absolutely. Does that make me an indecisive person? Also yes. Nonetheless, it's one of those quirky personality traits that I've never been able to kick. That being said, I pride myself on having an incredibly organized phone. At least 75% of the apps on my phone are organized into the following categories:
- School
- Google Products
- Reading
- Social Media
- Streaming Services
- Shopping
- Banking
- Photography
- Organization
- Health
- Food
I have a total of 138 applications on my phone, but for the sake of keeping this post light, I'll list my top 3 most used apps and my top 3 favorite apps below.
TOP 3 MOST USED APPS
- Facebook Messenger - I primarily use this app to keep in touch with friends. However most of my usage is credit to my husband's habit of sharing memes in our family group chat.
- Free
- Facebook - Also primarily used to keep up with friends. (But if we're being honest, I really use it to get lost in hours of "Reels" Videos)
- Free
- Netflix - Bridgerton....need I say more?
- Subscription
top 3 favorite apps
- Spotify - This app might be the only thing getting my through my last semester of my Bachelor's Degree. P.S. Their premium subscription is 100% worth it.
- Free
- Subscription (Ask about a student discount!)
- Planta - Have I mentioned that I'm a major plant lady? This app helps me keep track of all my plant babies. It tells me when to mist, water, repot, & fertilize every plant. There's also a light meter that helps me decide on the best place for my plants to live. The best part? I get to give every plant a name!
- Subscription ($36.99/Year)
- Pixels - This is a recently developed app made by an IT Student. It's a mood tracker with an incredibly simple user-interface. Plus, who doesn't love an app where you can customize color schemes?!
- Free
- One Time Payment / $1.49
